PRELIMINARY 2025 ITINERARY

DAY 1 Friday, 22nd August 2025
Depart from Brisbane Airport and arrive in Papua New Guinea. Upon arrival, you’ll be greeted by your Australian Kokoda Tours guide and transported to the Hilton Hotel in Port Moresby. The evening will include a trek briefing by the pool, followed by a relaxing group dinner, and The Man Cave presenting ‘Courageous Conversations’, which will set the tone for our journey.
DAY 2 Saturday, 23rd August 2025
Port Moresby to Popondetta via Air (Approx. 30 minutes flight)
Popondetta to Kokoda via Private Road transport (Approx. 2.5 - 3hrs)
DAY 3 24th August 2025
Deniki to Alola - approx. 6 hours trekking
Evening - fireside chat/activity, bought to you by Breakthrough Mental Health
DAY 4 25th August 2025
Alola to Vasi Campsite - approx. 8 hours trekking
DAY 5 26th August 2025
Templetons to Kagi - approx. 8 hours trekking
Evening - fireside chat/activity, bought to you by Breakthrough Mental Health
DAY 6 27th August 2025
Kagi to Menari - approx. 7 hours trekking
DAY 7 28th August 2025
Menari to Nauro - approx. 6 hours
Evening - fireside chat/activity, bought to you by Breakthrough Mental Health

Nauro to Ua-Ule creek - approx. 7 hours trekking
DAY 9 30th August 2025
Ua-Ule creek to Owers Corner - approx. 6 hours trekking.

Depart Papua New Guinea / Arrive in Brisbane
